Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve

Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve is situated in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra. The tiger reserve spans over an area of 625 sq km. The forest consists of Teak, Mahua, Palash, Arjun and other trees. Various wild animals including tiger, leopard, panther, sambhar, hyena, chital, bear and bison are sighted in this jungle. During the winter hundreds of migratory birds visit the lake in this forest. The Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve remains open from November to June. Jungle safari is conducted two times a day - in the morning and in the afternoon. The reserve remains closed on every Tuesday.

Valley of Flowers

The Valley of Flowers National Park is situated in the North Indian state of Uttarakhand, bordered by the neighboring countries of Tibet and Nepal. The park spreads across an area of 87.5 sq km and was declared as a national park in the year 1982. Ranging at an altitude of 3352 to 3658 meters above sea level, the Valley of Flowers National Park is also an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Kulik Bird Sanctuary

Kulik Bird Sanctuary (Raiganj Wildlife Sanctuary) is claimed as Asia's second largest bird sanctuary. Spanning over an area of 130 hectares this sanctuary is home to 164 species of birds including Asian Koel, Red Whiskered Bulbul, Munia, White Breasted Water Hen, Magpie Robin, Parakeet etc. Every year thousands of migratory birds visit this sanctuary during winter. There is a watchtower for bird watching. Apart from birds there are around 64 species of butterflies and various species of reptiles at this sanctuary. The best time to visit Kulik is from September to January.
