Pench National Park (officially known as Indira Priyadarshini Pench National Park) is located in the southern reaches of the Satpura hill ranges. The forest covers an area of 757 sq km and spans over both the states of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Pench River flows through this jungle. The park houses a number of wild animals including tiger, leopard, bison, fox, nilgai etc. The place is also a paradise for bird watchers with around 200 species of birds living in this forest. There are three entry gates for jungle safari at Pench National Park.
