Nagarhole National Park

Nagarhole National Park is situated in Kodagu and Mysore district of Karnataka. The park derives its name from the word naga meaning snake and hole referring to streams. Marine National Park

Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary

Eravikulam National Park is located in Idukki district of Kerala. Nestled in the lap of the Western Ghats, the park is just 14 km from the popular hill station of Munnar. The forest received the status of National Park in the year 1978. The Rajamalai area of jungle is open for the tourists. Apart from the Nilgiri Tahr, the Eravikulam National Park is also home to various species of birds. The view of the forest from the top of watchtower is amazing.

Bandipur National Park

Bandipur National Park is situated at a distance of 235 km from Bangalore in the state of Karnataka. This park was established as a tiger reserve under Project Tiger in the year 1973. The forest covers an area of 874 sq km. The Bandipur National Park hosts a variety of wild animals including tigers, leopards, elephants, gaur, hyenas, deer, sloth bears and wild dogs. Various species of birds and snakes also live in this jungle. The National Park remains open from 6 am to 8 am and again from 4 pm to 6 pm. Cars are available on hire basis for jungle safari.
