Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary is located between Bhandara and Gondia district of Maharashtra. The place is best for those who want a calm and peaceful jungle safari. There are two entry gates to the sanctuary - Pitezari and Chorkhamara. Five watchtowers are situated in this forest for viewing of wild animals. This sanctuary is home to tiger, bison, sloth bear, Chital, Sambhar, wild cat, wild dog etc. A number of species of birds are also seen in this forest. There is a museum at the Nagzira Tourist Complex where one can witness the various methods of wildlife conservation.
